Lance F. Bolen, 61, of Maumelle passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born in Coronado, CA to the late Clarence Everett and Joyce Ostrom. Lance was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Bolen.
Lance retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years and started his second career as a General Contractor. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend and he will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Lois Trumble Bolen; three children, Sara DeSantiago, Rachel Womack (Josh) and Jason Bolen (Liz); eight grandchildren, Olyvia, Angelina, Alanna, Daphney, Logen, Mason, Miranda, and Jesali; and a host of many, many family, friends and customers.
Graveside service will be 12 noon, Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400). The family wishes to thank the McClellan VA Hospital Staff and Arkansas Hospice Staff for the awesome support during the time of need.
