Donald W. "Donnie" Burns, age 64 of 106 Gum Drive, Sherwood, Arkansas; was born October, 28, 1949 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was mercifully taken by the Lord October 30, 2013.

He accepted the Lord and was baptized at the age of 16.

Donnie was preceded in death by his beloved mother Georgia, his brother Joe D. and his dad Don Burns.

He is survived by his sons Jason Burns, wife Linn, Justin Burns and partner Tammy Pearson. He is also survived by his sons' mother Judy, and two grandchildren Carson and Jack Burns.

Donnie was a United States Marine from 1968 to 1980 serving in Vietnam before retiring. He was also a retired Postal Worker with 30 years of service.

In lieu of flowers donate to Agent Orange Organization.

Special thanks to Tammy Pearson his caregiver from start to finish. He loved and depended on her completely.

Graveside Services with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home at 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
