David L. Yancy, Sr. 83, of Little Rock, AR passed away peacefully on October 25, 2013. His loving survivors include: wife of sixty years, Willie J. Yancy; two sons, Nathaniel C. Yancy (Cheryl) and Sterling Johnson Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; three daughters, Carolyn, Ruby and Willie (Harold) Thompson of Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and special friends. Home going services will be on Saturday, November 2, 2013, 11:00 am, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, 1215 South Schiller Street, Little Rock, AR. Interment will be on Monday, November 4, 2013, 1:00 pm, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave. NLR, AR.
