Rodney Lee Berry, 76, of Greenbrier, went home to be with the Lord October 6, 2013.
He was born and raised in Texarkana, Arkansas. He retired from the Air Force October 1974. He retired from Raytheon Corporate Jets in 2001.He was a member and deacon of Cross Point Baptist Church in Greenbrier and served the Lord since June 1952.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharolyn Berry; four children, Sharry Elaine Roberts, Rodney Lynn Berry, Letitia Rene Rounsavall and Melissa Diane Beard and husband Marcus L. Beard, Jr.; six grandchildren, Shawn Roberts, Nicole Nebling and husband Shannon Nebling, Joseph Rounsavall, Trenton Beard, Jordan Beard, and Bailey Beard; one great-grandchild, Hailey Nebling; sister-in-law, Willene Gardner; nephew, David Gardner; and niece, Andrea Blendea.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Winnie Bell Townsend and brother, Morris Ray Berry.
Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Cross Point Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Drive in Conway
