Monica Lea Carpenter, 31, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Ozark.
She was born June 6, 1985 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Clay and Debra Dotson Carpenter.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Vard and Jean Carpenter and her step father, Don Summers.
Monica is survived by her parents, Clay Carpenter of Ozark and Debra Summers of Knoxville, Arkansas; a daughter, MarLea Carpenter-Jones of Ozark; a sister, Tiffane Carpenter and wife Andrea of Springdale, Arkansas; a brother, Zachary Carpenter and wife Savanna of Ozark; a niece and nephew, Jemma and Stetson Carpenter both of Ozark; and her maternal grandparents, Harold and Bessie Pickartz.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, April 9th at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel 2315 West Commercial street, Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are Randy Boren, Tim and Matt Reynolds, Bryant Harvey, Conway Jones, and Cole Adams.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2017 at West Park Baptist Church of Ozark with Reverend Troy Vaughn officiating and burial at Belt Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial St., Ozark, Arkansas.
