Ronnie Lee “Joe” Sheppard, 71, of Watts, Oklahoma, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Springdale, Arkansas.
He was born May 18, 1945 in Ozark, Arkansas, to Chester Lee and Delcia Marie Frost Sheppard.

He was a Poultry Farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patty Boen Sheppard and two sisters, Linda Sheppard and Lavern Mitchell.

He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Cady and husband Greg of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; a son Joe Sheppard and wife Virrie of Ozark;two sisters, Wanda Barnes and Ruth Jones, both of Ozark; a brother, Lonnie Sheppard of Ozark; five grandchildren: Chelsea Chandler and husband Zach, Lindsey Cady, Christian , Ashlie, and Katelynn Sheppard; and five great grandchildren: Alanna and Ryann O’Neal, Rosalie Willis, Melanie Sheppard, and Easton Chandler.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Freedom of Faith Tabernacle Church with Brother Cody Jones officiating, and burial at Belt Cemetery, under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

Serving as pallbearers are Anthony Boen, Colby Jones, Mike Frazier, Zach Chandler, Lonnie and Roger Sheppard. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Jones and Josh Harrison.

Patty Boen Sheppard 55 of Fayetteville died in Fayetteville,She was a native of Deer Ar.and a pentecostal. She was preceded in death by her mother Lucille Peoples.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Sheppard; one daughter, Melissa Cady of Siloam Springs: one son, Ronnie Joe Sheppard of Boonville; her father and step-mother James and Shirley Boen of Clarksville; one brother, Leroy Boen of Paris; three sisters, Janet McGinnes of Alma, Yvonne Williams and Karen Cagle both of Ozark, four grand-children also survive.
Patty was 55 years old when she died.
