James Carl Tillery, 94, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Ozark. He was a retired construction worker. He was born March 26, 1921 in Cass, Arkansas, to Jessie Leonard and Jeskie Walker Tillery. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Haley Jane Stephens; a brother Jim Tillery, and a sister Elgie Jane Felkins.
He is survived by two daughters, Betty Torix and husband Vessie Torix of Ozark, and Beaty "Bea" Barham and husband Leon of Compton, Arkansas; two brothers, J D Tillery of Basehor, Kansas, and Clarence Tillery of Ozark; two grandchildren, James Wallace Alston and William D. Torix; and one great grandson, James Riley Alston.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Belt Cemetery in Ozark under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
