JOHN PAUL JONES, 80, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012. He was born in Wynne, Ark. to Luther G. and Nannie Porter Jones and retired as a wage and hour investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor. He was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church, where he was known as the "Candy Man." He and his wife were square dancing enthusiasts.
Preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and a sister, he is survived by his wife of 52 years; three daughters and sons-in-law; brother and sister-ia-law of Virginia Beach, Va.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services with Military Honors were Monday, Oct. 22 at Winfield United Methodist Church, 20100 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, officiated by Rev. David Hoffman.
Memorials may be made to Winfield United Methodist Church or to Baptist Hospice, 9601 I-630, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
