LeRoy Phillips died Thursday, August 11, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, on October 12, 1926.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, and a member and past Commander of American Legion Post 0011 in Malvern, where he was a long time resident.
He is survived by his seven children, thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial with military honors will be in the AR State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016.
