Dennis Wayne Loper, 55, of Pea Ridge, died August 21 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

He was born April 25, 1961 in Bentonville to Jerry Allen Loper and Iva Dean Holliday Loper. He was a lifelong resident and a self-employed mechanic. He loved his grandchildren, fishing, fast cars and motorcycles.

Survivors are his parents of Bentonville; a son, Josh Loper of Bentonville; a daughter, Johnni Dodson (Jacob) of Pea Ridge; two brothers, Jimmy Loper (Melva) of Gravette, Kenny Loper (Leslie) of Bentonville; a sister, Karen Edwards of Bentonville; four grandchildren, Wyatt, William and Aubrey Dodson and Taylor Loper.

Service is set for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 25 at Faithbuilders Family Church in Rogers with Pastor Tim Horton officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Bentonville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
