Carolyn Ann Woodward Nelson, 68, of Alexander, Arkansas joined her Heavenly Father and her loving husband of 46 years on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at John McClellan V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. She was born October 6, 1947 to Herbert and Evelyn Parrish Woodward.
She served in the U.S. Army and was a homemaker. She especially loved her children and grandchildren and her fur babies, Socks and Ginger.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother and three sisters.
She is survived by son, William E. Nelson, Jr. (Theresa); daughter, Anne C. Barnett (David); sister, Patsy Plott; grandchildren, Tearyn, Isabelle, Gavin Barentt, Abigal and
Gabrielle Nelson.
The best memorial would be to love your families.
Memorial service will be held at a future date at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery.

William Eugene Nelson, 70, of Alexander, Arkansas joined his Heavenly Father on Friday, April 1, 2016 at John McClellan V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born in Joplin, Missouri on March 3, 1946, to Lewis A. Nelson and Winnie E. VanNess.
He served in the U.S. Army and finished his career, after 28 years, with Central Arkansas Transit.
He loved his fur babies, Socks and Ginger, mechanics and tinkering.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother, Charles Pense.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Carolyn Nelson; children, William Nelson, Jr., Anne Barnett; sister, Louise Nelson; grandchildren, Tearyn, Isabelle, Gavin Barnett, Abigail and Gabrielle Nelson.
Memorials may be made to Gideon Memorial Bibles.
Memorial service will be held at a future date at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
