SPECIALIST US Army
April 9,1966 - July 17, 2016
William (Bill) Douglas Riviere passed away July 17, 2016 in Jacksonville, AR. He was born April 8, 1966 in New Orleans, LA.
He is survived by his son, mother and three brothers.
Bill served in the Army, 5th Group Special Forces Airborne and worked at ABF for many years as a diesel mechanic. Bill loved bird watching, traveling and the sayings “I Know That’s Right” and “Yes Sir” with a southern drawl he charmingly had.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked well-wishers to show a little extra kindness to a veteran next time you see one. Bill would like that.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, AR on Saturday, July 23rd at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow at an offsite location, announced at the service.
