Wife of Billy Thomas McPeak, US ARMY, SP4, VIETNAM
Teresa Dawn Dixon McPeak, 34, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2014, at her home in Bryant.
She was born Nov. 2, 1979, in El Dorado. Teresa graduated from Huttig High School in Huttig and briefly attended South Arkansas Community College on a president’s scholarship.
Teresa was preceded in death by a daughter, Breanna Elaine Thompson; and a grandfather, William A.J. Thompson.
She is survived by her parents, Cathy and Jim Barton of Huttig; one sister, Laura Brown Nicholson of Huttig; three brothers, Beau Brown of Albert Lea, Minn., and Nathan and Stephen Barton of Huttig; her grandparents, Patsy Thompson of Huttig and Betty and Dale Dixon of Farmerville, La.; and many aunts and uncles.
Teresa’s family made the decision to donate her organs, saving the lives of four people. Teresa was cremated according to her wishes and memorial services will be announced.
