Lorene Hall, 91
Lorene Hall, age 91, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Mrs. Hall was born June 20, 1925 in Hand Valley, Arkansas to the late Jack and Mirla (Vickers) Tilley. A lifetime resident of the area, she was a homemaker and farmer, and attended Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. She married her husband, Edgar, May 1, 1943. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and quilting. She also liked to work on the farm, including mowing. Lorene was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and sister.
Lorene is survived by two sons: James Hall and his wife, Linda; Doyle Hall and his wife, Jan, all of Yellville, Arkansas; two daughters: Louise Akins and her husband, Jack, of Yellville, Arkansas; Janice Haney and her husband, Steve, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one brother: Nemo Tilley of Flippin, Arkansas; one sister: Reola Arms of Blue Springs, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar on October 30, 1996; her parents; two brothers: Wilburn Tilley; Elmo Tilley; and one sister Joyce Ringwald.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm until service time Friday, March 10, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville, Arkansas with Pastor Kem Reeder officiating.
Interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Yellville.
Pallbearers will be Steve Akins, Marty Hall, Eric Keeter, Jerry Hall, Roger Tilley, and Kenny Tilley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Shawn Bogle, Michel Villager, Angela Myers-Obermire, Shirley Helmke, Jerry Jones, and the Staff of Creekside Health and Rehab.
