Obit:
Carl J. Gottsponer, 88, of Dover died June 26, 2014. He was born September 9, 1925, in Hattieville, Arkansas, to the late Joseph Gottsponer and Caroline (Vetter) Gottsponer.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar Gottsponer, Joe Gottsponer and Jacob Gottsponer; and two sisters, Catherine Victory and Sister Mary Gottsponer.
Carl is survived by his wife, four sons, a stepson, two stepdaughters, two sisters, two brothers, two sisters-in-laws, 25 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
A celebration of Carl's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Owens Cemetery.
