Earl Grant Schembra, 61, of Greenbrier, formerly of Dover, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at his sister's home in Scottsville. The son of the late Charles and Lola B. Schembra, he was born June 14, 1946 in Harrisburg, AR. He was a tool and die machinist at Laddish before his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Steven Brian Schembra and Melissa Ann Schembra; four brothers, Charles Schembra, Webb Schembra, Lawrence Schembra, Daniel Schembra; one sister, Ellen Poynor.


He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Schembra & wife Lisa of Dover, Darrell Schembra & wife Cindy of Greenbrier; one daughter, Marsha Schembra of Dover; four brothers, Henry Schembra & wife Mary of Dover, Nicky Schembra & wife Debbie of Hector, Lloyd Schembra & wife Anna of Dover, Phillip Schembra & wife April of Dover; one sister, Patricia Huffman & husband Dennis of Hector; three grandchildren, Courtney Schembra of Russellville, Teyrria Schembra of Russellville, Micheal Schembra of Dover and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral service will be at 10 AM Saturday, February 16, 2008 at The Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Arnold Humphrey officiating. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery at Dover, by Humphrey Funeral Service.
