Preceded in death by his parents Jake and Ida Sample.
He served his country in United States Marine Corps retiring in 1972 as a Lt. Colonel. He served 24 years and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Funeral service will be held at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock Arkansas.
Arrangements are being handled by Little Rock Funeral Home.
