Obituary:

Joan Lisa Reeves Clinton, daughter of the late Vaughn D. Reeves and Martha “Maxine” Twilley Reeves, was born October 5, 1961 in Batesville, Arkansas. She departed this life February 2, 2017 at her home in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas at the age of 55 years, 3 months and 28 days. She was a lifelong resident of Mount Pleasant. After graduating from Mount Pleasant High School, she married her high school sweetheart, David Clinton on August 5, 1979. She went on to attend Ozarka College and earn an Associates Degree in Business. She was employed as a cook at Mount Pleasant School, Melbourne School and Pioneer Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years: David Clinton of the home; three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Charlotte and Gary Campbell of Mount Pleasant, Marilyn and Tom Teague of Melbourne and Sandy and Tip Evans of Mount Pleasant; her mother-in-law: Wilma Washington of Calico Rock; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date

Arrangements by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
