Coba Dewayne White Sr., 70, of Garfield, AR. entered into rest on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Houston, TX. He was born March 4, 1943 in Clarksville, AR. to the late Denver and Ollie White. He was a Navy Veteran, retired carpet layer, a former employee of Lowe's and of the Undenominational faith. He was preceded in death by his niece Shellie Rae White. He is survived by 2 daughters Heather White of Fort Smith, AR and Jacoba Irvin and husband Randall of Uniontown, AR., 2 sons Coba White Jr. of Fort Smith, AR. and Bryan White and wife Susan of Fayetteville, AR., 1 brother Donnie White and wife Deborah of Kingsport, TN., 6 grandchildren Chelsey White, Taylor White, Brittany White, Tanner Cross, Abigail Irvin and Allison Irvin and 1 nephew Jason White. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. with interment at 12:00 noon at West Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hartman, AR. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. Pallbearers will be Marc Whitaker, Larry Chafin, Drew Harris, Jim Harris, Randall Irvin and Nick Smith. Memorial may be made to American Diabetes Association 320 Executive Ct.
