Norman Monroe Weatherton of Hartman, Arkansas, was born December 26, 1927, to his parents in Logan County, Arkansas, and passed away December 23, 2014, in Clarksville, Arkansas, at the age of 86. He was retired from Citgo Oil Company, was a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of Bible Hilltop Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Bertha Pannell Weatherton, and his wife, Joanne Guthrie Weatherton.
Mr. Weatherton is survived by his son, Jerry Weatherton and wife, Bobbie, of Alvin, Texas; his daughter, Phyllis Rogers and husband, George, of Clarksville, Arkansas; his brother, Glenn Weatherton of Arizona; his two sisters, Willeen Trusty of Russellville, Arkansas and Evelyn Cash of California; two grandchildren, a great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 29, 2014, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Reverend Bill Allen officiating. Burial will follow in West Mount Zion Cemetery in Hartman, Arkansas, with Masonic Graveside services.
