Purple Heart
Rupert Sidney Crymes, III, 74, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
He is now pain free and with his Lord and Savior. He attended Wentworth Military Academy and the University of Arkansas. He served in the Air Force as a B52 pilot, flew two combat missions in Vietnam and sustained an injury and was disabled. He served 21 years on the North Little Rock Airport Committee and also served as chairman. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Crymes, of North Little Rock; son, Clay (Lisa) Crymes, of Fayetteville; daughter, Kelly (Steve) Cochran, of North Little Rock; granddaughter, Kate Crymes, of Fayetteville; and a sister, Maribeth (David) Jennings, of Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 5200 Fairway Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
Interment with military honors will follow at the AR State Veterans Cemetery.
