January 2, 1930 - May 29, 2002
Elmer Lewis "Turk" Allen, 72, of Pine Bluff died May 29, 2002 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born January 2, 1930 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Allen in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Mr. Allen severed in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Allen; a son, William Dean Allen and a brother, Clarence Allen.
Mr. Allen is survived by sons, Dennis Allen of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Marty Allen of Jacksonville, Arkansas; daughters, Judy Allen and Peggy Bartholomew both of Mound, Minnesota; sister, Betty Southered of Oregon; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
