WALDRON, Bettie E. CRUDUP - Mrs. Bettie Waldron, wife of I.N. Waldron, died Sunday at their home a short distance east of town. She had been a sufferer from consumption for a number of years. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Autry. The remains were interred in Bluff Cemetery. Deceased was 41 years of age and was the mother of three children, two sons and one daughter. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church and was esteemed and respected by all. The family have been here for a year and a half, having come to this place from Farmington. The news extends sympathy to the bereaved father and children.

Bettie E. Waldron died at her home in Springdale, Ark. Feb. 18, 1900. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crudup who live near Farmington. She was born in Dyer County, Tenn. Sept. 27, 1858, was married to I.N. Waldron Feb. 11, 1880, moved to Washington County, Ark. January 1883 and settled near the present home of her father where they have lived most of the time since. Sister Waldron professed religion early in life and has been a church member for 21 years. She died at the age of 41 years, 4 mo. and 21 days, and was a member of the Springdale Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was an orderly walking christian and highly esteemed by those who knew her. She leaves a companion and family of children, also a father and mother, one sister and three brothers to mourn her loss but we sorrow not as those who have no hope, believing that our loss is her gain.
