Bobby Carl Garrett, 74, was born on May 26, 1941 to Thurman and Mary Alice Bowman Garrett and passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in Homer, LA. Mr.
Garrett has been a resident of the area since 1982 and was a member of the Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy; was a retired fishing tool operator in the oil industry and enjoyed fishing, hunting and car racing.
He is survived by sons, Robert Louis Garrett and wife, Letha of Homer, LA, Douglas Wayne Garrett and wife, Ami of Emerson, AR; daughter, Theresa Ann Huckaby and husband, Rickey of Jonesboro, LA; brother, Tommy Garrett and wife, Mary Grace of Haynesville, LA; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Linda Duet Garrett; parents, Thurman and Mary Alice Bowman Garrett; and son, James Thurman Garrett.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Haynesville, Louisiana, with Father Pat Madden officiating. Interment will follow in Western Cemetery, Emerson, Arkansas.
