Mr. Reyes Torres, 63 of Montgomery, Texas, passed away Monday November 3, 2014 in Montgomery, Texas.
He was born October 28, 1951 in Slaton, Texas.
Mr. Torres served our country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Reyes flew helicopters during the war and retired with twenty years of service.
Mr. Torres is preceded in death by his son, Reyes William Torres, his father Donaciano.
He is survived by wife, Barbara Torres; daughters, Brandy Elizabeth Link, Christiana O'Donohoe; son, Matthew Alexander Torres; step mother Maria Teresa Torres; his mother Elizabeth Patnam; sisters, Mary Esther and David Lewis, Catalina Leon Torres; brother, Jesse and Pat Torres; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at Hess Cemetery in Coal Hill with Danny Dunlap, Charlie Dunlap, Wade Dunlap, Michael Leeds, Bruce Dunlap, and Levi Goldsborough serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim DeNike, Leslie Dunlap, David Lee Dunlap, R.D. Dunlap, Daniel Dunlap, Michael Lee Shepherd, Jody Smith, Jimmy Butler, Andy Butler, and Slade Middleton.
