SILOAM SPRINGS - Cody William Pickering, 25, died March 9, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 21, 1983, in Springdale to Douglas and Judy Blair Pickering.
He was a 2003 graduate of Gentry High Schaal. He married Melissa Nichols on June 8, 2002. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Colcord, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; his son, Zane Pickering of the home; his daughter, Kadee Pickering of the home; his mother of Cameron, Mo.; two sisters, Kendra Murphy of Texas and Michelle Loflin of California.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Springtown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a fund for his children that has been established at Decatur State Bank.
