Myrtle Gertrude Dodson, 85, Eudora, were held Monday at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain View, Ark., with the Rev. Junior Avey officiating. Burial was in the Blue Mountain Cemetery near Mountain View. Mrs. Dodson died Thursday, Sept. 5, 1991, at Humana Hospital in Overland Park, Kan. She was born Dec. 3, 1905, in Big Springs, Ark., to John and Ollie Avey Crymes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Big Springs Baptist Church. She married Carlos Dodson on Dec. 24, 1924, in Big Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Hollis Dodson, Eudora; two brothers, Homer Crymes and Dexter Crymes, both of Mountain View, Ark.; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
