BENTONVILLE — William "Roy" Garrett, 79, of Bentonville, Ark., died May 16, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. Born Oct. 21, 1933, in Siloam Springs, Ark., he was the son of Ray Garrett and Della Mae Nichols Garrett.
Roy served in the Army. He was a self-employed roofer. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Gatrell; and three brothers, Raymond Garrett, Jack Garrett and Jerry Garrett.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Garrett and wife, Andrea, of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Terry Garrett and wife, Shari, of Cincinnati, Ark.; two daughters, Lisa Martin of Kansas, Okla., and Susan Watts and husband, Nathan, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Louise Riley of Wichita, Kan., and Lois Babcock of Jay, Okla.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Ark. with the Rev. Jo Jones officiating.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
