Frank Eugene Hoyle, 75, of Ozark died Monday, July 9, 2001, in Ozark. He was born Sept. 4, 1925, in Mulberry. He was a retired Army lieutenant colonel and a veteran of both theaters of World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altus and the St. Joseph Society, past president of Franklin County Co-op. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark. Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altus with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Altus. He is survived by his wife, Martha; four daughters, Karen Nichols of Fayetteville, Patsy Taylor of Fort Smith, Phyllis Wolfe of Benbrook, Texas, and Mary Ann King of London; a son, Frank Hoyle Jr. of Mulberry; three sisters, Maxine Conway of North Little Rock, Phyllis Stotts of Arlington, Texas, and Inez Allen of Alma; a brother, Clyde Hoyle of Mulberry; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Restoration Fund or the Arthritis Foundation.

Martha Mary Hoyle, 93, of Ozark, Arkansas, died, Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Ozark.

She was a Registered Nurse and Homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Quilters.

She was born January 17, 1920 in Altus, Arkansas to John and Sophie Sax Post.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Hoyle Sr; her parents; five brothers, Reverend Cletus Post, Louis, Norbert, George and Alfred Post and one sister, Bertha Myers.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altus, Arkansas with Father David Bellinghausen officiating with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Frank Hoyle, Jr. and wife Roseann of Mulberry, Arkansas; four daughters, Mary Ann King of London, Arkansas, Karen Nichols and husband Rodney of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Patsy Taylor and husband Ralph of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Phyllis Wolfe and husband Randy of Benbrook, Texas; six sisters, Rita Evans of Chicago, Illinois, Fronie Evans of Ozark, Gertrude Vaught of Altus, Arkansas, Lucille Johnson of Wichita, Kansas, Hermina Falck of Oelwein, Iowa and Trenna Kremers of Clarksville, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, January 18, 2013 with visitation to follow from 7:30 – 8:00 PM at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 W. Commercial St. in Ozark.

Pallbearers are Jeffrey Taylor, Tracye Smith, John King, Rebecca Wolfe, Sarah Nichols and Gary Post. Honorary pallbearers are St. Mary's Quilters.
