Lori Anne Vest-Mason of Melbourne, Arkansas

Lori Anne Vest-Mason, daughter of Anne Williams Vest and the late Emmett Vest, was born March 18, 1968 in San Pedro, California. She departed this life April 8, 2016 in Natural Dam, Arkansas at the age of 48 years and 21 days. She was an 1986 graduate of Melbourne High School. She was united in marriage to Paul Mason July 7, 2012 in Melbourne, Arkansas. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant, she filed medical insurance and worked at an Imaging Center. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Melbourne First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 3 years: Paul Mason of Natural Dam, Arkansas; one daughter: Jerra Anne Vest of Melbourne; four brothers: Glen Vest (LeeAnn) of St. Louis, Missouri, Donald Vest (Tammy) of Rockledge, Florida, John Vest (Teresa) of Melbourne and Bruce Vest (Donna) of Kansas City, Missouri; four stepdaughters: Brooke Mason, Cheyenne Mason, Brittany Mason and Kaylan Rayburn; two step grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Emmett Vest.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Steve Stevenson officiating. Burial will be at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Monday, April 11 from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers: Glen Vest, Donald Vest, John Vest, Bruce Vest, Jason Sherrill and Eric Vest.
