Beryl Jean (Barran) Marshall, 80, of Magnolia, Arkansas died Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. She was born January 20, 1930 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Oscar and Josephine (Borum) Barran and was a lifelong member of the Central Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Errol and David Barran; and sisters, Betty Jo Barran and Alyce Fincher. Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Jack W. Marshall of Magnolia; son, David Marshall of El Dorado; daughters, Jane Powell and husband Jim of Warren, Susan Ward and husband David of Texarkana, Texas; grandsons, Matthew Powell of Little Rock, Jay Marshall of El Dorado, and Marshall Ward of Texarkana, Texas; granddaughters, Lauren Zoretic and husband Tom of Bella Vista, Lynley Marshall of Little Rock, Kelsey Ward and Anna Ward both of Texarkana, Texas; nephew, Barry Fincher of Waxahachie, Texas; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Central Baptist Church. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church. www.lewisfuneralhome.biz.
