*Obituary - Lewis Funeral Home
Kyle Barclay Chandler, 34, of Magnolia, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at his residence. Kyle was born Dec. 21, 1981 in Magnolia.
He graduated from Magnolia High School in 2000, attended the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he studied architecture. He was the drafting manager at Landpoint Survery in Magnolia.
Kyle was a father, son, husband, brother, and friend. His love and devotion to his daughter Madeline was like no other. She was truly the light of his life and he lived to make her happy. He was also dedicated to his stepson Braden and enjoyed special times camping, working on school projects, and just enjoying the outdoors and often shared the love of hunting and fishing with his young nieces and nephews.
He was a fighter. When his wife Heather was diagnosed with cancer, he made it his mission to get her well. Each time they were given discouraging news it only made him fight harder to find new options. He was so intelligent, talented, and creative. He was one of those special people who could do anything he put his mind to.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Heather Adams Chandler; father, Judge Larry Chandler; paternal grandparents, Curtis Hayden and Hester Evelyn Chandler; and maternal grandparents, Charles Arthur (Chuck) and Jeanne Kenworthy Milton.
He is survived by his daughter, Madeline Chandler of Magnolia; step-son, Braden Waller of Magnolia; mother, Laurie Chandler of Magnolia; sisters, Shannon Cook and husband English and Shelley Youngblood, all of Conway, and Ashley Chandler of Magnolia; brother, Ryan Chandler and wife Jill of Greenbrier; nieces, Riley Youngblood and Addison Cook of Conway, Presley Stansell and Hadley Stansell of Magnolia, Taylor Chandler and Tatum Chandler of Greenbrier; nephews, Chandler Stansell of Magnolia, Hayden Youngblood of Conway, Travis Chandler of Greenbrier, and Easton Braswell of Magnolia; mother and father-in-law, Darrel and Rhonda Adams of Magnolia; uncles, Bob and Jody Milton of Warren and Skip and Debbie Milton of Fordyce; Tana Lovell and family, and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation was held Sunday, July 17 at Calvary Baptist Church, with funeral services following with Bro. Micah Carter officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc.
Pallbearers were Chance Thornton, Patrick Milton, Jamie Waller, Daniel Talley, Austin Chatelain, Grey Murphy, Brad Roberson, and Steve Hall.
