WEST FORK — Charlie Edward Webb, 69, of West Fork passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, in Springfield, Mo. He was born Jan. 11, 1945. in Marianna, Ark., the son of Fred and Florence Dorothy Bell Webb.

He retired from the United States Army.

Preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Webb.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jean Webb of the home; one daughter, Sarah Jean Higgins and husband, Michael, of West Fork; four sisters, Judy Vandiver of Batesville, Ark., Sharon Madison of El Dorado, Ark., Glenda Spencer of El Dorado, Ark., and Mildred Forte of Atoka, Tenn; one granddaughter, Megan Webb of West Fork; two adopted grandchildren, Amber Higgins and Brittney Higgins; his mother-in-law, Sarah Hand of Farmington; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at First Baptist Church in West Fork, with Pastor Heath Clowers officiating. Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Beard's Funeral Chapel.
