Tommy D. Wells, 78, went home to be with The Lord on Monday morning with his family by his side in his home in Syracuse, NY. Tommy was born in Benton, AR to Jody and Birdie Wells. He married Barbara D. Eddy in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 7, 1956.

Tommy and Barbara moved to Magnolia, Arkansas in 1960, and lived there for 50 years where he was active in the community and the local church. He retired as a Lieutenant Officer from the Magnolia Police Department after 20 years of service, served on the Magnolia City Council for 22 years, and was a church elder and Sunday school teacher for 30 years. He also owned and operated Wells Electric Inc., until moving to Bossier City, LA in 2008, and then to Syracuse, NY in 2010 to be closer to family.

Tommy is survived by his wife Barbara Wells; sister JoAnn Haley of Memphis, TN; daughter and spouse, Kimberly and Luciano Miceli; granddaughter and spouse, Dana and Dmitriy Kaskov, and four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Sophia, Jonah and Evelyn all of Syracuse, NY.

His parents, two siblings, Edward Wells and Christine Kelly and his son, Kelly Wells preceded Tommy in death.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-7PM at Bailey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30AM Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Bethel Church with Bro. Haagon Lister officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.

The family will be staying at 1212 Dogwood in Magnolia during this time.
