Ronnie Kay Alston was born October 25, 1943 in Ozark, Arkansas, the son of Thurman Edward Alston and Verna Rae Morrell Alston. He passed this life on February 6, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 73.
He was a forklift driver for Ft. Smith Packaging, a farmer, and a U.S. Army Veteran Vietnam.
He leaves to mourn his passing: 4 daughters: Laura Schneider of Tennessee, Ramona Alston of Ft. Smith, AR, Rhonda Alston of Muldrow, OK, and Shanelle Alston of Oakland, NE, 1 son: Ashley Alston of Tennessee, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 sister: Carolyn Somner of McCloud, OK, 1 brother: Kenny Alston of Inola, OK
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Verna Alston and siblings, Eddie, Randall and Truman Alston
Funeral service will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at Noon at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Rankin Cemetery in Lone Elm, Arkansas.
