January 28, 1920 - August 19, 2013
Fred Adam James, 93, of Clarksville, died August 19, 2013. He was born January 28, 1920, in Hartman Arkansas, to the late Luther and Byance (Phelps) James. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Jewell and daughter Mary Annett Dunn.
Fred is survived by one Granddaughter Angela and Darrell Culbreath of Broken Arrow, OK; two nieces Molly Mclaine of Clarksville, Paula Wills of Clarksville; one Sister Laquita Hanik of Clarksville; one great-grandson Chandler Culbreath; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. James served our country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II; he saw action in the European theater and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Fred enjoyed work, hiking outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be Open at Roller-Cox funeral home.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday August 22, 2013 at Roller-Cox Chapel with Dr. Darrell Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Hartman cemetery
