J. W. "Dub" Ferguson, 76, of Hartman, died Monday, September 19, 2011, at Clarksville Health & Rehab. Born Saturday, November 10, 1934 in Chatfield, TX, to Joe and Ethel (Layton) Ferguson he was a member of the Fernwood Assembly of God Church, and a retired Pest Control Owner and Operator.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Ferguson of the home; daughters: Dianne Bell, Hartman, Sandy Mahan and Norma Ladkins both of Texas; seven grandchildren plus two-Chad (Deborah) Phillips o Wisconsin and Kim (Eddie) Lindsey of Clarksville and sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters: Winnie Lyman, Ft. Payne, AL; Leta Bell, Bonham, TX; and Fran Pannell, Powell, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; son: Steve Ferguson; brothers: Sanford and Joe Ferguson; and sister: Marie Cox.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Roller-Cox Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jamie Cortez, Gerald Moreland, Paul Terry, Randy Allen, Allen Walker, and Paul Brasel. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Vanantwerp, Harrison Phillips, Coy Vanantwerp, and Jack Phillips.
