Bruce Marvel Sr., 74, of Russellville, passed away April 6, 2013, in Russellville. He was born April 8, 1938, in Hartman, Arkansas, to the late Albert and Florine (Greene) Marvel.
He was a very kind and caring person, and loved hunting, fishing, the St Louis Cardinals, His Dog "Snookums", and being outdoors. Bruce was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Conway. He worked for the Conway public School system for 30 years as a Maintenance supervisor.
Bruce is preceded in death by one Daughter Jo Ann Marvel, one Son Craig Marvel; his Parents, and step mother Hazel Marvel; one Half Brother Richard Marvel.
Mr. Marvel is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Pat (Watley) Marvel of the home; one son Thomas Marvel Jr. of Russellville; Good Family Friend Danny Tucker of Russellville ; Numerous Bothers, Sisters, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and many other dear friends and family throughout the community.
Mr. Marvel's Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2013, at Hartman Cemetery, with Bro. Joe Lockridge officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Patricia Ann Marvel, 73, of Russellville, died July 5, 2014. She was born May 22, 1941, in El Dorado, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Marvel; a daughter, Jo Ann Marvel; a son, Craig Marvel; her mother and step father, Iona and Henry Slankard; and two brothers, John and David.
Mrs. Marvel is survived by a son, Thomas Marvel of Russellville; a sister, Martha Kellum and husband, Don, of Smackover; two close family friends, Danny Tucker and Melanie Davidson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Hartman Cemetery, with Bro. Larry Pillow officiating.
