Marshell Gene Stiles, 73, of Hartman died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Charleston. He was on the Johnson County Quorum Court, worked for County Line Sale Barn, was past president of the Johnson County Fair Board, a member and on the board of directors for the Coal Hill Riding Club, a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the Hartman Cemetery board and an Army veteran.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hartman Methodist Church with burial at Hartman Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; a daughter, Marsha Tindell of Hartman; a brother, Alton Stiles of Roseville; and a grandchild
