Daisy Dean Detherage, 99, of Ozark, Arkansas, died, Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Ozark.
She was born June 21, 1913 in Greenwood Community to Ernest and Elizabeth Martin Covert.

She was a Baptist, worked at Seamons Store in Altus, was a board member of Liberty Cemetery, volunteered at Altus Museum and wrote the Altus News for the Spectator.

She was preceded in death by, her husband, Coyle Detherage and two daughters, Shirley Detherage and Joyce Littlejohn.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home with Mike Pennington officiating with burial at Nichols Chapel Cemetery in Altus, Arkansas, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

She is survived by four sons, Bill Detherage and wife Doris of Lawrence, Kansas, James Detherage and wife Arletta of Great Bend, Kansas, Larry Detherage and wife Kathy of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Ronny Detherage of Radium, Kansas; one sister, Ernestine Morton of Ozark; numerous grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one niece, Ruth Smith of Ozark.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeff, Bryan, Steven, Josh, Adam and Ryan Detherage. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth and Gordon Ross, Larry W., Brad, Gerald, Matthew and James C. Detherage.
