Buddy Charles Bagwell, who resided in Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.
He was born January 13, 1935 in Charleston, Arkansas to the late Dock Dolphus Bagwell and Marietta (Friar) Bagwell. He was 79 years old.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean (Ross) Bagwell; one sister Mary Ann Gasaway; and one grandson, Thomas Medlin.

Buddy was a retired sales representative for Keene Corporation in St. Louis. He was a 1952 graduate of Paris High School, and was a member of Greenwood Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with the Rev. Michael Roach officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Campbell and husband Craig of Annandale, Virginia and Kristi Medlin and husband Bradley of Lago Vista, Texas; two sons, Steven Bagwell and wife Tammie of Charlotte, North Carolina and Brett Bagwell and wife Kalene of Blue Springs, Missouri; one brother, Joe Bagwell and wife Jill of Alma; nine grandchildren, Jared Campbell, Tyler Campbell, Allison Campbell, Taylor Medlin, Liam Bagwell, Beau Bagwell, Miranda Bagwell, Isabella Bagwell, and Sophia Bagwell.

Pallbearers will be Randy Bagwell, Taylor Medlin, Liam Bagwell, Beau Bagwell, Jared Campbell, James Barrie, and Tracy Fant.
