Mr. Forrest G. Sharp of Charleston, Arkansas, died March 19, 2010, just 1 day short of his 90th birthday of natural causes. His loving family was beside him as he crossed over. Mr. Sharp was the son of the late John and Pearl Sharp.
Mr. Sharp was a deacon at First Freewill Baptist Church for over 50 years. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Cattlemen's Association.

Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Malta Sharp; and a sister: Alta Sharp.
He is survived by his wife: Audie Lee Sharp; his children: Roger and Russell Sharp of Charleston, Arkansas and a daughter: Karen and husband Bob Wilson of Van Buren, Arkansas; his granddaughter: Bethany Wilson of Van Buren, Arkansas; and niece: Marsha Sharp Wigley and husband of Conway, Arkansas; other relatives; and a host of friends.

Funeral service was held on Monday, March 22, 2010, at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Charleston, Arkansas. He was laid to rest at Garden of Memories in Charleston.
Pallbearers were: Mike Hewett, Billy Bagwell, Ronnie Roper, Larry Wright, Danny Roberts and Dewayne Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers were: Gary Edgemon, David Rice, Kim Loughridge, Jim Sargent, Ray Keck, Ed Storey, Doye Wagoner, Herman Ramsey, Bill Eiland, Bob Jonas and Bob Johnson.
