John C. "Jack" Vaughn 78, of Charleston, AR died January 29, 2015 in Fort Smith.
He was born September 1, 1936 in Fort Smith to Jack Vaughn and Evelyn Schlieff Vaughn.
He was a member of Charleston First United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School for 38 years; a retired Educator teaching at Charleston, Paris and West-Ark, where he taught for 20 years, he loved wood working and was a member of the Amateur Radio Club.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Vaughn.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at Charleston First United Methodist Church with interment at Garden of Memories, under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Norma Kay Vaughn of the home, two sons John T. Vaughn and wife Kelly of Garland, TX and Charles Lee Vaughn and wife Wanda of Fort Smith, two sisters Mary Joan Rice of Charleston, Lela Joyce Krusey of South Carolina, one brother Zelmer Wilson of Bella Vista, AR, seven grandchildren Taylor, Andrew, Samuel, Jakob, Lainey, Stone & Reid.
