Lucille Lyle, 84, of Fort Smith, AR. passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in a local hospital.
She was born on March 5, 1930 in Lavaca to the late Walter H. and Ola Fitzjarrell.
She was a retired cook at Sutton School and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.S. Lyle, and brother, Earl Fitzjarrell.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Garden of Memories, Charleston, and viewing will be Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
She is survived by two sons, John David (J.D.) Lyle of Central City and Jerry Lyle and wife Martha of Booneville; one daughter, Marcia Melvin and husband Jim of Fort Smith, AR.; six grandchildren, Brian Lyle, Raymond Lyle, Arlo Lyle, Nikki Russell, Nichole Goolsby, and Danyelle Melvin; four great-grandchildren, Abigail Lyle, Noah Russell, Adam Russell, and Emma Goolsby. Pallbearers will be; Brian Lyle, Arlo Lyle, Raymond Lyle, Ramdon Russell, and Rick Relford SR.
