Martha "Marti" Diane Kaufman, 55 of Springdale, went to be with the Lord November 30, 2016. She was born Dec 5, 1960, in Fort Smith, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sonnie C. & Dortha Jeanne VanMeter Edwards, her paternal grandparents, Ray & Flora Stallings Edwards, and her maternal grandparents, Luther & Nancy Crawford VanMeter.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristin Jeanne Kaufman and granddaughter Rhiannon Jeanne Kaufman of Springdale, Michael Kaufman, and a brother, Mike Edwards of Sacramento, CA.
Marti was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville. She was a previous Miss Arkansas Valley and Miss Westark.
Visitation is to be held in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, Springdale, AR on Sunday, Dec 4, 2016 from 1 to 3PM. Funeral Services are 10AM Monday, Dec 5, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Dr. Douglas Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30PM at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, AR under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
