Richard L. Wilhelm a resident of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010. He was born February 13, 1940 in Paris, Arkansas to Richard E. Wilhelm and Lucille Sewell Whilhelm. He was 70 years old.
Richard was retired as a boiler operator from Booneville Human Development Center. He also served his country in the US Navy.
He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Jones & husband Manuel, of Charleston and Angie Young of Charleston; three sisters, Susie Hood and husband Ron of Charleston, Joanie Manning of Marietta, GA., and Judy Hart of Little Rock; a brother, Mike Wilhelm and wife Barbie of Berryville; four granchildren, Tyler Young, Kyle Young, Levi Young and Katie Jones.
Funeral services were held at Smith Mortuary at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
Pallbearers were Danny Manning, David Manning, Paris Wilhelm, Andrew Wilhelm, Tobias Wilhelm, Paul Wilhelm, Hans Wilhelm and Chris Hart. Honorary pallbearers were "The Scooter Buddies", Ron Hood, Tim Dodd and Mike Wilhelm.
