Virginia Neece, 89 of Walnut Ridge, passed away June 24, 2017 at the Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab.
Born June 24, 1928 in Egypt, daughter of the late Tom and Anna Bell Wallin Phipps. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Walnut Ridge.
In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph; a sister, Maxine Davis; and two brothers, Tom Phipps Jr. and Hubert Phipps.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Ann (Robert) Curtis of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Ryan House, and Drew and Erin Curtis; and one sister, Bonnie Caples of Jonesboro; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 10 A.M. in the First Assembly of God Church in Walnut Ridge with Bro. Dale Hughart officiating. Pallbearers will be Ryan House, Drew Curtis, Brian Caples, Stan Phipps, Rex and Brett Phipps. Honorary Pallbearers are the Women's Study Group at Church and her granddaughter, Erin Lee Curtis.
Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. at the Bryan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Gideon's International and or the Northeast Arkansas Food Bank.
