Kenneth Howell, 69, of Altus, Arkansas, died, Saturday April 12, 2013 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was born on October 17, 1943 in Alix, Arkansas to Herbert Lee Howell and Estelle Rosezetta Qualls Harmon.

He was a Baptist, navy veteran, and a retired self employed heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Vernon, David, Rosezetta and Jackie Howell.

Funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Houston Cemetery in Alix, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Kimberly Hillard Howell, three sons; Kendal Howell of Ozark, Arkansas, Austin Howell of the home and Steve Carter of Altus; five daughters, Sarah McKeehan and Lori Edgmon both of Ozark, Robin Howell of California, Crystal Carter of Denning, Arkansas and Rochelle Hill of Ozark ; four sisters Ethel Vaughan of Caddo, Oklahoma, Joyce Casey of Barling, Arkansas, Faye Ellis of Hobbs, New Mexico, Darlene Sewell of Odessa Texas and Ricky Howell of Checotah, Oklahoma; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00-7:00 PM, Monday, April 15, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.

Pallbearers will be Michael McKeehan, Jeff Prude, James Edgmon, Robert Krachey and Kendall and Jeremiah Howell. Honorary Pallbearer will be Steve Carter.
