John Ed Pullen, 71, of Ozark died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Fort Smith.
He was born June 13, 1940 in Whitehall, Arkansas to George L. and Willie Mae Yarbrough Pullen.

He was a veteran, a retired mechanic and pastor, a Patriot Guard chaplain and attended Springs of Living Water Church.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Houston Cemetery in Alix.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Pullen of Ozark; two daughters, Glenda Marie Nichols of Hunt Town, Arkansas and Betty Jo Nichols of Ozark; one son, John William Pullen of Ozark; two sisters, Lavonia Graham and Evelyn Jo Damme both of Waterloo, Iowa; two brothers, Albert and William Pullen both of Altus, Arkansas; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
