LOWELL — Dannie M. Magby, 65, of Lowell and formerly of Bauxite, went home to meet his Lord on July 18, 2008, at his home in Lowell.

He was born on Oct. 17, 1942 in Bauxite to Eathel and Lola Brown Magby, who preceded him in death.

He will meet his three young grandsons, Weston, Joshua, and Hayden Brown in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen J. Magby and daughter, Kicia Brown-Sears and her husband Michael; one son, Scott Magby; four grandchildren, Britney Brown, Zachary Magby, Evan Sears, and Tell Sears; four brothers, Sebert Magby of Benton, Troy Magby, Autry Magby, and Ferrell Magby of Bauxite; three sisters, Dixie Smith of Bauxite, Linda West of Bauxite and Novis Glenn of Malvern.

Dannie served in the United States Air Force for eight years and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 32 years as a special circuit repairman. He retired in January 2000 and spent his time planting his garden, riding his fourwheeler and traveling to see friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 20 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. July 21 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers with Bro. Paul Robert officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
